About Mill House

A WARM SCOTTISH BORDERS WELCOME AWAITS YOU

Mill House was an old Grain Mill and Granary and dated back to the 17th century. David and myself bought the deralict Mill in 2002 and it took us 14 months to renovate it in to the large spacious home it is today. Our home has been a successful Bed and Breakfast for 12 years and each year we enjoy even more than the last, we now have 4 ensuite rooms and a luxury Self Catering Apartment.
Mill House is in the foothills of the Cheviot hills so which ever outside pursuit you prefer this is the place to stay. The Pennine Way finishes in Kirk Yetholm and St Cuthberts way passes right past our front door.
In the village of Yetholm we are lucky to have a Post Office, 2 pubs, a Village Store, butchers Shop and a Garage which sells fuel we are 7 miles from our nearest town Kelso.

    Here at Mill House we offer a packed lunch option for guests planning a days walking/cycling they cost £9.50 each and include -

    A homemade sandwich/filled roll, A bottle of Water/Carton of fruit juice, a packet of crisps, a piece of fruit, something sweet and homemade ( special every day ).

    We ask our guests to preorder their packed lunches a couple of days before if possible or the night before at the latest.
